I am so glad you stopped by and I'm super excited to meet you!

I am Jocelyn Furtado and I'm so proud to be serving the local community here in

Redding, Weston, Ridgefield, Wilton, and the surrounding towns.

As a new mama myself, I know how important it is to feel pampered, beautiful, and loved. Motherhood is challenging enough, and your hair doesn't have to be something else you have to worry about. I've designed my salon experience with you in mind. In a way that will leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than you've ever felt before!

 

I have been in the Beauty Industry for 18 years and I have never been more in love with my clients or my craft than I am now. I've gained tons of popularity because of my background in Hair Color and I tend to book out a few weeks in advance for these appointments. 

I specialize in Hair Treatments, Hair Painting (Balayage And Babylights),

Natural "Lived-In" Color, and Makeup.

 

While most stylists offer a great first visit and maintenance care thereafter, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. My strong attention to detail, my behind the chair experience, and my one of a kind consultation approach, all make your visits with me unlike any other. I work together with all of my guests to create a long-term haircare plan to ensure they're cut, color, and style always look fresh. There won't ever be a time that you feel stuck or bored in a routine when we're together.

 I have recently traded in big city living for a more laid back lifestyle

here in Connecticut. After living in Miami for the past 10 years, I really wanted to move back up north to be closer to family in Massachusetts. It's a big change for sure, but we

are adjusting perfectly. I'll tell you, theres nothing like watching the leaves change color in the fall, or throwing my hair up in a top knot before I sip on some warm hot chocolate all cuddled up by the fire.

I feel extremely blessed to enter into this next chapter of my story,

where I can connect with other local mamas like myself. I opened Love+Light Salon Studio because I wanted to create a Salon environment filled with light, laughter, and tons of love!

I continuously aspire to be you're Hairstylist that shows up for you in a big way, each and every visit.
