Our Story
Meet Our Founder + Creative Director
It all began on a warm summer afternoon in New York City back in 2018.
Having recently relocated from Miami, I found myself sitting at my favorite vegan brunch spot, reflecting on the whirlwind of my new chapter. Between the demanding intensity of my corporate career and the relentless pursuit of taking our Beauty House public, my idyllic vision of NYC life had quickly turned into chaotic 80-hour workweeks. Sitting there, I faced a pivotal realization: something had to shift. I needed to build a life that honored both my ambition and my desire for true, meaningful balance.
With a good deal of bravery and a few hard conversations, Love+Light Salon Studio was born.
Our story started in Wilton, CT, inside an intimate, 100-square-foot sanctuary with just one styling chair and one sink. She was tiny, but she was mighty. The moment guests walked through that door, the outside world vanished. In that space, deep connections were forged, stories were shared, and true magic happened. I knew instantly that I had tapped into something far greater than hair care—I had tapped into community.
While salon ownership wasn't my original blueprint, creating a soulful sanctuary and mentoring the next generation of stylists became my true calling. As demand grew, I stepped fully into my role as a leader, determined to expand our vision and show rising artists what was truly possible for their careers.
Today, we welcome you to our exceptional home at 8 Main Street.
Hidden away on a quiet street flooded with natural light, Love+Light is a hidden gem designed to feel like a retreat. It is a nod to a simpler time—reminiscent of the 90s, where warmth was effortless, presence was second nature, and living in the moment came easily. Here, you are invited to leave the demands of the world at the door and experience genuine connection, elevated care, and a community that quickly feels like family.
I welcome you with open arms, a warm heart, and sincere gratitude for choosing us.
We are so honored to have you here—see you in the chair!
